DESCRIPTION
The Altec Lansing 654A cardioid microphone is a deluxe microphone with a nonglare matte satin nickel finish. Designed for entertainment applications, the 654A includes a large rear acoustic loading chamber to enhance bass response below 200 Hz, and precise distance spacing between windscreen-breath filter and cartridge element to produce a warmer response with isolation from background accompaniment and extraneous noise. The windscreen-breath filter is a threestage unit that virtually eliminates all breath transients while maintaining clean, crisp, high-frequency response.

The 654A features a rugged and durable diaphragm, highly resistant to the effects of shock, blast or corrosive fumes, capable of withstanding wide humidity and temperature variations. A built-in hum-bucking coil provides superior hum rejection.
