ARCHITECT'S and ENGINEER'S SPECIFICATION

The microphone shall be a dynamic supercardioid type with pivoting yoke. The microphone shall have a wide-range uniform frequency response from 30 to 22,000 Hz. The open circuit voltage sensitivity shall be 3.1 mV/Pascal at 1,000 Hz and the power level sensitivity shall be -51 dB at 1,000 Hz where 0 dB equals l mW/Pascal. The magnetic circuit shall be a nonwelded circuit and employ a neodymium alloy magnet. The transducer shall employ a hum-buck coil. Rated impedance shall be 150 ohms. Line shall be balanced to ground and
phased. Pin 2 shall have a positive voltage with reference to Pin 3 vvith positive pressure on the diaphragm. The screen shall be manufactured of dent resistant steel with aluminum connector tube with built-in cable connector similar or equivalent to the Switchcraft A3M. The product finish is matte black. The height shall be 4.55 inches (115 mm), width 2.85 inches (72 mm) and the length 2.75 inches (70 mm). Stand clamp shall be provided for mounting provisions. The microphone shall be the Altec Lansing model AL40ND.
